DHS Warns Dems Over ICE Agent Harassment
DHS condemns doxxing and interference with ICE operations after viral video shows Tennessee Democrat trailing agents.
Trump Administration Draws Line Over Interference With ICE
The Trump administration’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a sharp warning this week to progressive activists and Democratic lawmakers who interfere with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. The warning follows a viral video that appeared to show Tennessee Democratic State Rep. Aftyn Behn and another woman following ICE vehicles in the Nashville area.
“This Administration is not playing games with the lives and safety of our ICE officers,” DHS said in a statement, labeling such actions as siding with “vicious cartels, human traffickers, and violent criminals.”
The video, posted by Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., allegedly shows Behn and a companion admitting they were “bullying” ICE agents and state troopers. Behn is heard calling it “a win,” prompting strong backlash from Republican officials. Ogles called their behavior “reckless” and accused them of aiding and abetting illegal immigration.
DHS Responds to Rising Attacks and Doxxing
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin reported that assaults against ICE officers have increased by 413% amid growing political hostility. She warned that the department “has the ability to trace phone numbers and track location information,” pledging to prosecute those who dox or target federal officers.
McLaughlin’s statement comes after the U.S. Secret Service and DHS served a search warrant on a Los Angeles resident suspected of disseminating fliers that contained personal details of ICE and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) officers. These posters, placed across Southern California, included agents’ photos, phone numbers, and work locations. Accompanying messages accused ICE of racial terror, criminalizing communities, and separating families.
DHS has denounced the fliers as not only defamatory but a threat to officer safety. “These acts endanger our agents and undermine lawful immigration enforcement,” McLaughlin said.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson further criticized Democratic figures, citing past remarks from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who allegedly referred to ICE officers as “Nazis.” Jackson also referenced reports of physical assaults against federal agents by members of Congress.
“The Democrat party is truly unhinged, and their dangerous behavior is putting lives at risk,” Jackson said. “They are defending illegal terrorists and attacking those who are keeping Americans safe.”
Jackson emphasized that the Trump administration remains firm: “We will hold anyone accountable who commits a crime against federal law enforcement.”
As tensions over immigration enforcement escalate, DHS is signaling zero tolerance for interference and vowing to use all available legal tools to protect its personnel.
