Trump Attacks Media Over Fake Polls

United States President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Monday to criticize major media outlets, including the New York Times, ABC, the Washington Post, and Fox News pollsters, accusing them of releasing "fake polls" aimed at damaging his re-election efforts.

"The New York Times has only 37% Trump 2024 voters, and the ABC/Washington Post Poll has only 34% Trump voters, unheard of numbers unless looking for a negative result, which they are," Trump wrote. He added that Fox News' polling efforts should also be scrutinized.

Trump called for an investigation into what he labeled "election fraud" carried out through manipulated polling. In a follow-up post, Trump lamented the state of the press, declaring, "We don’t have a Free and Fair 'Press' in this Country anymore. We have a Press that writes BAD STORIES, and CHEATS, BIG, ON POLLS. IT IS COMPROMISED AND CORRUPT. SAD!"

The president’s comments reflect his growing distrust of mainstream media and reinforce his administration’s stance on election integrity during his current term.
