Trump honors 3,200 political appointees in historic White House lawn gathering with food, speeches, and entertainment.

Unprecedented Gathering Celebrates New Administration Team

President Donald Trump hosted more than 3,000 political appointees on Wednesday evening for a landmark event on the White House lawn, marking one of the largest administrative gatherings in presidential history.

The celebration brought together appointees from every department, a first for any administration. Traditionally held in separate shifts, these gatherings were consolidated into a single event to honor all newly appointed officials serving in Trump’s second term.

“This is his team. These are his people,” said one official involved in organizing the event. “These are individuals who are hand-selected by the president to work in the administration delivering on the historic mandate that he received in November.”

The evening featured speeches from the president and his Cabinet, as well as food and entertainment for attendees. Trump personally addressed the group, acknowledging their role in fulfilling the administration’s goals and reinforcing the momentum of the America First agenda.

Record-Breaking Hiring Across All Departments

Since taking office on January 20, the Trump administration has hired over 3,200 political appointees, surpassing prior benchmarks for speed and scale. According to Sergio Gor, Director of Presidential Personnel, 91% of all political appointments across the federal government have been filled in just 135 days.

“The quality of talent that we’ve assembled is remarkable,” Gor stated. “Each political appointee in the Trump administration is unwavering in their commitment to this president and his goal to make America great again.”

Hiring milestones have been achieved at nearly every major federal agency. Departments of Defense, Commerce, and Treasury have filled more than 85% of their political positions, while Health and Human Services, Labor, and Homeland Security are at 90%. The Department of Veterans Affairs has completed 100% of its appointments.

An official described the new hires as a mix of experienced executives, technical specialists, and loyal aides. “We have hired the best and brightest to make America great again and advance the America First agenda,” the official said.

In addition to rapid hiring, Trump’s Cabinet was confirmed without any nominee being rejected in committee or on the Senate floor, a record highlighted by officials as a sign of cohesive leadership and strong legislative support.

The White House event symbolized both appreciation and strategic alignment, showcasing the team that will carry forward President Trump’s policies and initiatives in the term ahead.
