Trump Pledges Tax Cuts, Celebrates Border Security
United States President Donald Trump announced that incoming tariff revenues will allow for substantial reductions in income taxes, particularly benefiting citizens earning less than $200,000 per year. Trump indicated that these tax cuts could be so significant that income taxes for many could be eliminated entirely. He emphasized that the initiative aims to prioritize working- and middle-class Americans.
"Focus will be on people making less than $200,000 a year. Also, massive numbers of jobs are already being created, with new plants and factories currently being built or planned. It will be a BONANZA FOR AMERICA!!! THE EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE IS HAPPENING," Trump declared on Truth Social.
Beyond tax policy, Trump highlighted what he called an unprecedented achievement at the U.S. border. He proudly cited a 99.9% success rate in preventing unauthorized crossings, describing it as the "best number ever recorded." According to the president, only three individuals managed to cross the border, a stark contrast to the "hundreds of thousands" who crossed during the previous administration.
The dual announcements of sweeping economic and border security successes underscore Trump's broader agenda to reinforce American prosperity and national sovereignty during his current term.
