Trump to Announce New Trade Deal Soon

United States National Economic Council (NEC) Director Kevin Hassett has confirmed that President Donald Trump will announce a new trade deal following his return from the Middle East. The revelation came during Hassett's appearance on Fox News, where he discussed the current state of US trade negotiations.

Hassett highlighted that Washington is actively working on approximately 25 trade deals, emphasizing the administration's focus on expanding economic partnerships. 'When the president gets back to the US, he will announce the next deal,' Hassett said, without disclosing which country is involved in the upcoming agreement.

He further expressed optimism about the timeline, stating, 'I believe that the deal is really close to being finalized and when he [Trump] gets back, I am sure he will have something to say about it.'

The announcement aligns with Trump’s broader strategy of leveraging trade agreements to bolster the US economy and strengthen international alliances. While specific details remain under wraps, the forthcoming deal is expected to be a significant addition to the administration's ongoing trade initiatives.

Hassett’s remarks underscore the administration's confidence in closing new agreements that support American businesses and enhance global trade relations. As Trump continues his diplomatic engagements in the Middle East, anticipation builds for the official unveiling of this new trade pact upon his return.

The news comes as part of a broader push by the Trump administration to diversify and deepen economic ties worldwide, reinforcing the president's commitment to proactive trade diplomacy.
