FBI Rescues 224 Children, Nabs 449 Predators
FBI nabs 449 child predators and rescues 224 children in first 3 months under new leadership, vows continued vigilance.
FBI Launches Aggressive Operations Against Child Predators
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced that the bureau, under his and Director Kash Patel’s first three months of leadership, has made major strides in apprehending child sex predators and rescuing vulnerable children. Bongino revealed that the agency conducted multiple nationwide operations that resulted in the capture of 449 child predators and the rescue of 224 children since the new leadership took office.
Among the agency’s largest efforts, Operation “Restoring Justice” led to the arrest of 205 child sex predators and 764 purveyors, with 115 children rescued. A second initiative, Operation “Soteria Shield,” resulted in 244 additional arrests and the rescue of 109 more children. Bongino emphasized the ongoing nature of these missions, stating, “We are not done. We are in the process of identifying and moving in on those who threw rocks at law enforcement officers and damaged property. I told you we would not forget.”
High-Profile Arrests and Organizational Reform
In addition to tackling child exploitation, the FBI has made significant progress in a range of high-profile cases. Bongino cited advances in investigations related to the COVID-19 cover-up, the Dobbs leak, the DNC pipe bomb incident, and announced the apprehension of three of the FBI’s top ten most wanted fugitives. The bureau has also arrested multiple foreign intelligence operatives involved in illegal activities.
As part of a broad reform agenda, the FBI underwent a series of internal leadership changes and reorganized its structure. Bongino noted that these reforms are aimed at correcting past mistakes and preventing future errors. “We are remaining hyper-vigilant in protecting the Homeland given the current global climate,” he said, underscoring the agency’s renewed commitment to accountability and transparency.
The FBI also worked with federal and state partners to crack down on immigration crimes, apprehending, imprisoning, and deporting thousands of illegal immigrants. More than 700 arrests related to anti-ICE riots were made as the bureau continues to analyze data to identify further suspects involved in civil unrest and attacks on law enforcement.
Looking ahead, Bongino assured the public that the FBI’s mission is ongoing. He pledged further disclosures and action on public corruption and thanked both supporters and critics for their patience. “God bless America, and all those who defend Her,” Bongino concluded, reaffirming the bureau’s dedication to protecting the nation and its citizens.
